UCC Events
The UCC runs a number of events throughout the year for its members, and welcomes further ideas or suggestions for club events. You may volunteer or suggest an event if you like.

UCC Fresher's Welcome

The fresher's welcome is to welcome you, as a new member, into the club. There will be a number of older members there to chat with. This is a great event to get to know some people and put faces to names. First time members get FREE pizza!
UCC Annual General Meeting
Tuesday the 14th of March 1.00 PM (common lunch hour)
Guild Council Meeting Room
The AGM is the meeting at which the new UCC committee will be elected for 2006. The only way to be represented is to attend. As a fresher, you should attend in order to run for the position as Fresher Representative. If you don't know where the Guild Council Meeting Room is, arrive in the UCC a little early and follow the mass exodus.

The UCC presents its first LAN gaming event for 2006, and it's going to be huge! Both members and non-members are welcome.
Cost:Members: Free - Non-Members: $5 (or $10 to join)
Bring $5 if you want UCC Pizza for dinner!

- Doom 3
- UT2004
- Air Buccaneers
- Civilisation 4
- Halo
and much, much more - if you can think of something, bring it down and there's bound to be someone who wants to play!
For those of you without the latest graphics cards there will also be the latest in classic and retro gaming:
- bzflag
- Quake III
- Nethack
- Zangband
There is also the Gamecube and there will be some Nintendo DS action (so bring one if you have one).
What to bring:
- yourself
- your computer
- a network cable (that's the blue thing)
- headphones
- snacks
- drinks (we recommend this includes water)
Remember, gaming will continue into Sunday and that driving tired can kill, so arrange for lifts if required.

Darling Range Adventure Camp, Pickering Brook
UCC Camp is traditionally held in December, but this year we're doing it in the middle of the year. It'll be less hot. Lots of gaming and shenanigans will take place while connected to the Internet with naught but a modem. More details on camp.ucc.asn.au.

Blast away that exam stress with the post exams 921 at Zone3. Everyone loves laser combat, and everyone also loves laser combat after not having had any sleep and only just having finished a 3 hour long Physics exam. Come join us, but be warned; some of our players are quite experienced.

UCC - UniSFA Quiz Night

The Guild Tavern, UWA
Come outdrinksmart your fellows using superior general
knowledge at the annual quiz night, the only opportunity you'll have
this year to help your club out against your (temporary?) enemies. Tickets
can be purchased in either clubroom and are $5.

Cameron Hall - in and around the UCC
Once a year all of the clubs in Cameron Hall get together and hold a night of fun to raise money for charity. There is a cover charge of $10, but you do get fed.
The UCC's 32nd Anniversary Dinner

Royal Perth Yacht Club, Crawley
The UCC has a birthday. This year, the UCC turns 32 (0x20). Dinner has been held at a number of venues over the years, but is always priced for students. Last year, we celebrated 31 long years at Terrazza on Hamden Rd. Come help us celebrate 32.
