President's Report

  • pretty busy year
  • rundown:
    • part of larger LAN events
      • hosted by numerous tech clubs across the UNIs
      • good turnouts
  • getting new computer parts soon
    • going to have a build and break soon
    • couple VR nights here and there

    • couple of dramas this year

Vice President's Report

  • [BRD] covered most of it
  • Still keeping up with putting up all the subcommittee minutes into a folder
  • on subcommittees

Secretary's Report

  • new to committee
  • Joined a lot of subcommittees
  • had a lot of fun
  • really enjoyed helping out the club

Treasurer's Report

  • Current state of accounts:

    • Westpac Cheque: $6,461.11
    • Westpac Savings/Investment: $44,213.07
    • Westpac Card: $159.80
    • Guild Account: $3,842.10
  • interesting being a treasurer

  • problems with westpac and other groups

    • westpac is a pain to work with
    • problems with guild too
      • miscommunication and issues with public liability
  • on the road to recovery from when covid hit

Fresher Rep's Report

  • new on committee too

  • successful year

  • good to get exposure to guild as a fresher

  • first ever experience with a club
  • A few of the OCMS left and OCM [->|] is all alone now
  • worked on a project of library of UCC books

Role

  • Assist the other Committee Members in the executions of their duties; and
  • Bear any responsibilities that the Committee shall from time to time decide.
  • Basically:
    • Help.
    • Pack-horse.
    • You get to have a say.
    • You do not need to be good at computers.
    • You get out as much from it as you put in.

      • doesnt have a job, so lots of free time

      • i would like to be on a committee, so will probably run again

      • considering i've been to more ucc meetings than unisfa, i think i'm readily available

      • not on any committees and has a part time job

      • would be great to do something more productive

      • dont promise to revolutionise the club
      • would liek to do his best to keep the club running
      • enjoys the weekly project nights and tech clubs and quiz night events
      • subcomittees are also fun
      • as a committee member would like to focus all his energy into running the events

  • James osborne: how often do you come to the clubroom and how often to you plan on coming to the club room

    • jordan: always likes to pop in every so often
      • visits a variety of clubs
      • could attend a lot more and bring more people

    • doesn't come in usually, but comes to the events frequently
    • if on committee, would probably come in a lot more
    • would be nice to have a space where you know -people will be there

    • last semsester, only visited a few times

    • always in cameron hall when at uni
    • likes the gaming atmosphere
    • a nice way to talk to people and get to know new people

    • would probably spend 2/3 days in the club
