    my time in the club. I plan on running for OCM next year, why not get a
head start
  - Tim: I'm Tim, I hang around UCC quite a bit, I attend meetings, and live
    nearby
  - [GAY]: I wanna strive for a stronger UCC, (gestures weirdly). What does an
    OCM even do?

  - Committee plans on doing a bunch of stuff during the holidays, are you
    able to attend somewhat regularly? [SAS]

      council room
  - [BOB]: I suggested 3 because getting 13 all at once would be a bit
    adventurous
  - [*OX]: These chairs have like 3 levers, which is 3 levers to break
  - [SZM] questions why we need three more chairs
    - [BOB]: We have 3 damaged chairs
  - [AMS]: Any special treatment we can do to the chairs so that they last
    longer?
    - [BOB]: They're black, JK Hopkins = sturdy
  - [ODF]: Have we researched alternatives?
    - [*OX]: So many times
    - [BOB]: They have a five-year warranty as well
  - [XON]: Do they come in pink?
    - [BOB]: No, &$@# off.

[XON] : Approval of Pizza
  - [SAS] moves to approve $250 for pizza, [MSW] seconds
      - [SZM] notes that committee approved $200 already
  - Motion passes, near unanimous, one abstain

[GOZ] : Cheaper membership for people who join half-way through the year?
  - I've spoken to people who say they would join, after halfway through the
    year, but hesitate to do so because of the increased price compared to
ODay
  - How about we reduce cost of membership after, say, semester 1 exams?
 
  - Argument of this
    - Book-keeping and account-locking would be difficult if membership lasts
      different lengths

  [BOB]: Guild has a minimum required sign-up fee, which may be an issue
  [AMS]: It might feel like a loss of value for paying $10. Why not add the
different on as dispense?
    - Some agreement to this idea
  [SMR]: Why do memberships not last for one year exactly?
    - Too hard
  [DIE]: If you charge $5 for half a year, we still get $5, and more if they
enter again next year
    - [EDO]: We give them $5 for dispense
  [BLZ]: Have a second day halfway through the year, so people who have been
in CH for half the year have seen UCC, and can get the value that they
would've gotten at ODay
    - [BOB]: Like club carnival
    - [RVS]: If people know about the second value day, they might wait til
      that day. Why not charge first-time members $5?
 
  [BLZ] moves that after first day of semester 2, membership is only $5 for
first-time members
    - [BOB] suggests amending that it contains an end date
      - [BLZ]: Until December 31st
    - Motion amended

  - [BLZ] moves that on or after the first day of semester 2, and on or before
    the 31st of December, membership is only $5 for first-time members, or
whatever, [SZM] seconds
    - 13 for, 8 against, 2 abstain 
    - Motion passes
