President's Report:
 - UniSFA/UCC quiz night is well underway
   - booked, people are looking forward to it
   - UEN and JCF will be writing questions
 - asking LAW to find out about good time for LAN
   - current time conflicts Go3

Vice President's Report:
 - starting polling members for LAN time
 - next week isn't good, nor is the week after, so we'll have to reconsider

Treasurer's Report:
 - balance is about the same, we need coke, nothing has been cheap

Secretary's Report:
 - poured all the coke in the room into the coke machine
 - membership database is about 30 members out of date, will update and produce
   account locking lists for wheel

Fresher Rep:
 - lots of freshers, all seem pretty happy

Machine Reports:
 - we have them
 - things seem relatively happy
 - guild switches went flakey during the week
 - brightlink contract still pending

Drinks'n'Snacks:
 - we don't have them
 - we ran out on Wednesday (almost completely)
 - Sarah Quail picked up some coke (now in machine)

Action Items:
 - SJC to determine coke credit liability/creditors
    - not done
 - SJC to chase up billing for Brightlink
    - in progress, pending on ITS
 - ACTION: PXY to email LA

DAA arrives

General Business:
 - investigate LCDs and how to avoid them being stolen
    - we need new monitors
    - increase the desk space
    - get ones with Kensington locks
    - 17"
    - ACTION: SJC to have a look at wholesale prices
    - top range for a new LCD $250 ??
    - get 3 monitors perhaps?
 - organise a due date/prize for the programming comp.
    - CHZ wants a 6 month programming competition
    - CAM thinks we should have fortnightly tasks that take an evening or two
    - it's just blue sky at the moment
    - ACTION: CHZ to write a proposal
 - quiz night

    - 27th April
    - $165 for Tavern, UniSFA paying half, approved
    - ACTION: PXY to do up a poster
    - Froggy is banned from mentioning the Hyde Park Hotel
    - minors are a problem, but there is not a lot that we can do
 - UCC LAN
    - a couple of weeks from now is looking pretty good
    - avoid the Easter long weekend
    - how does Friday the 13th sound? Black Friday LAN
    - last day of the holidays
    - ACTION: LAW to organise a night pass
    - ACTION: PXY to knock up a poster
 - computer angels
    - proposal was sent to committee@
    - the idea being that UCC provides support for students without computers
      on campus
    - CA has a charitable collections license
    - UCC would install machines, provide them to people at very low cost and
      service them if they fail (for UWA students)
    - service fee is a flat fee (eg. $35) - UCC would take a cut, Computer
      Angels would take a cut (to pay for yearly auditing, etc).
    - it's a lot of work
    - CAM has machines and monitors so that we could get going immediately
    - distro last time was a huge time sink, perhaps we could simply run
      Xubuntu
    - do it on Market Day
    - CAM has already spoken to Dave de Hoog (before he became Guild president)
    - ACTION: JCF to bring this up with Dave de Hoog
    - venture is popular with the people present
 - SOC
    - they're trying to sort out space for lists and websites with Guild IT
    - opportunity for the UCC to mail the clubs list and offer services
    - we already host the UWAnime site, WAMSS, etc.
    - ACTION: DAA to offer services to clubs
 - Blood drive
    - a couple of buses will be provided, take people to the city
    - we need to shove up some posters
